Warranty

Your GALVARRO watch is warranted by Galvarro Watches AB for a period of twenty four (24) months from the date of purchase under the terms and conditions of this warranty. The international GALVARRO warranty covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of delivery of the purchased GALVARRO watch (“defects”). The warranty only comes into force if the warranty certificate is dated, fully and correctly completed and stamped by Galvarro Watches AB (“valid warranty certificate”).


During the warranty period and by presenting the valid warranty certificate, you will have the right to have any defect repaired free of charge.


In the event that repairs are improper to restore the normal conditions of use of your Galvarro watch, Galvarro Watch AB guarantees its replacement by a Galvarro watch of identical or similar characteristics. The warranty for the replacement watch ends twenty four (24) months after the date of purchase of the replaced watch.

This manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:

– normal wear and tear and aging (e.g. scratched crystal; alteration of the colour and/or material of non metallic straps and bracelets, such as rubber; peeling of the plating);

– any damage on any part of the watch resulting from abnormal / abusive use, lack of care, negligence, accidents (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.), incorrect use of the watch and non-observance of the use directions provided by Galvarro watches AB;

– indirect or consequential damages of any kind resulting from e.g. the use, the non-functioning, the defects or the inaccuracy of the GALVARRO watch;

– the Galvarro watch handled by non-authorized persons (e.g. services or repairs) or which has been altered in its original condition beyond Galvarro watches AB’s control.

Any further claim against Galvarro watches AB e.g. for damages additional to the above described warranty is expressly excluded, except mandatory statutory rights the purchaser may have against the manufacturer.

The Galvarro watch AB’s customer service ensures the perfect maintenance of your Galvarro watch. If your watch needs attention, rely on an official Galvarro authorized Service Center.

1. Liability for defects 

1.1. The Customer shall inspect the condition of the goods and report any defects in writing immediately after the delivery, by indicating the exact nature of the defect that is the subject of the complaint. It is the Customer’s responsibility to provide proof of defect. 


1.2. In case of delivery and/or quantity errors, the Customer shall inform GALVARRO in writing within 15 days after the receipt of the goods. 


1.3. If the Customer subsequently discovers a defect that cannot be detected during the inspection as described in Section 1.1 above, the Customer shall immediately inform GALVARRO in writing. The warranty period provided for in Section 2.2 below is reserved. 


1.4. In the absence of compliance with the duties of Sections 1.1 to 1.3 above, the Customer shall be deemed to have accepted the goods as delivered by GALVARRO. 

1.5. In the event of a proven defect or error in delivery and/or quantity, GALVARRO will repair (without excessive expenses) the goods. Secondarily, GALVARRO can decide to exchange the goods in case of a defect. If GALVARRO is unable to repair (including without excessive expenses) the goods or to complete the delivery, or renounces from exchanging the goods, the goods in question will be taken back or a price reduction will be granted to the Customer according to his choice. 

1.6. Should the Customer decide to opt for a price reduction, he shall be deemed to have accepted the goods as delivered by GALVARRO with respect to the defect(s) claimed. 

1.7. The goods referred to in Section 1.5 must be returned to the following address, stating the reason for the return:

2. Limitation of warranty and liability 

2.1. The warranty provided for in Section 1 only covers goods manufactured by GALVARRO. For deliveries of goods which are not manufactured by GALVARRO (third party goods), GALVARRO shall only assume the warranty within the scope of the obligations of the manufacturer concerned. 


2.2. The warranty period is 2 years from the delivery of the goods. 


2.3. GALVARRO is not liable for any costs of assembly or disassembly, nor for any damage resulting directly or indirectly from the delivered products themselves and/or their use. 


2.4. GALVARRO’s extracontractual or contractual liability is limited to gross negligence, intentional acts and direct damages. Galvarro´s liability for consequential damages and damages of other kind (in particular for loss of profit) as well as for auxiliary persons is completely excluded. In all applicable cases, the amount of damages shall not exceed the value of the order price.
